Here’s the thing. A bulletin board is fine for posting photos, a nice calendar, phone lists, cartoons, or motivational quotes. But it’s the worst place to tack things that requires you to take action.

Papers get tacked there so they won’t get lost in the pile on your desk. But then items get tacked on top of each other five deep and you don’t even realize what is there. Even if items are only one layer deep you just stop seeing them after awhile. What’s stuck there becomes part of the scenery.

Clear off that bulletin board and see how much better you feel and more productive you are with a less visually cluttered space.
